Education minister nominee apologizes for sending daughter to study in U.S.

Education Minister nominee Lee Jin-sook apologized for unlawfully sending her daughter abroad for studies, citing ignorance of the law. Allegations of academic misconduct also emerged during her confirmation hearings.
